At STAR all placements (matching a student to a coach OR a student to a class) are assessment based.
Before your child begins their first session with STAR, parents or students should be prepared to provide the following:
All students will be given an assessment to help establish what group/program level will fit them best. Upon completion, a STAR coach reach out to provide options and suggestions about the class that the student can be placed.
STAR focuses on ensuring your child delivers improved test results by increasing their confidence in a supportive environment. We provide children with a space and tools resulting in higher grades, more confidence, and a value for academic enrichment.
STAR is flexible and happy to work with all parents on a structured payment plan.
Due to our varied class sizes, and individualized assessments, each student will be different, and require a session plan fit for them. Ranging from 1 on 1 personalized instruction to small group sessions (2-5 students).
STAR has a three step process which determines how our coaches are best able to assist your child’s learning. First starting with a Language Assessment. Once the assessment has been made, your child will adopt an individualized learning plan designed by their coach. Lastly to let our parents know about progress, we release report cards to ensure you’re fully aware of your child’s progress.
